Lawrenceville Moves: Open Up's Winter Ball for All

Bring your family to a winter dance celebration that welcomes everyone—no experience necessary. This event captures the fun energy of a classic school gymnasium dance, complete with a DJ spinning music, snacks, punch, and plenty of space to move (or just enjoy the party). DJ Mark from Band Together Pittsburgh will be leading the entertainment, bringing music and a genuine commitment to creating a welcoming environment for all. Whether you dress to the nines or wear your coziest clothes, you're welcome exactly as you are. The evening includes a one-song dance competition for anyone who wants to show off their moves, plus the chance to connect with neighbors and new friends. All ages and abilities belong here—dance the whole night, cheer others on, or simply soak in the community vibe. Tickets are available on a sliding scale basis, and financial constraints won't keep your family away; organizers invite anyone facing payment barriers to attend. This celebration also benefits Open Up, an organization dedicated to expanding inclusive movement and community programs in the area.
