LDA of PA presents Early Literacy Tutoring

LDA of PA is bringing their Early Literacy Tutoring program to the Beechview branch, offering targeted reading instruction for kindergarteners through second graders. Small groups of up to four students work with a dedicated tutor using hands-on, multisensory techniques that make learning engaging and interactive. The curriculum covers essential skills including phonics, sight words, letter formation, spelling, handwriting, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. The program runs in two one-hour sessions back-to-back, and students are asked to commit to attending twice weekly to build momentum and see real progress. Before your child can start, you'll need to complete the registration process, after which LDA of PA will contact you directly to place your student in the right class level. This is a great option if your young reader needs extra support or enrichment in foundational literacy skills.
