Learn & Play Storytime with WGTE

Interactive storytime at the library with WGTE—perfect for babies and toddlers.

This special storytime brings PBS KIDS characters and programming to life through hands-on learning activities designed for preschoolers. WGTE educators lead engaging mini-lessons using video clips, stories, and interactive activities that support language development, creativity, thinking skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth. The program is structured around Ohio's Early Learning and Development Standards, so your child will be building real skills while having fun with familiar PBS characters. Parents, caregivers, and community groups are all welcome to join in. The session runs about 45 minutes and takes place in the library's meeting space, which accommodates up to 80 people and is handicapped accessible. This is a great option if you're looking for quality programming led by trained educators that goes beyond typical storytime to create meaningful learning moments for your young child.
