Learn & Play Storytime with WGTE

This special storytime brings PBS KIDS characters and stories to life through activities designed for the youngest learners. WGTE educators will lead engaging mini-lessons combining video clips, hands-on activities, and storytelling to spark curiosity and learning across multiple areas of child development. The program focuses on language and literacy skills while also supporting cognitive growth, creativity, physical development, and social-emotional learning—all aligned with Ohio's Early Learning and Development Standards. This event welcomes preschoolers and the adults who care for them, including parents, caregivers, and staff from daycare programs or community organizations. It's a great chance for young children to enjoy quality programming in a structured, educational setting while caregivers gain insight into learning-focused activities they can continue at home. The session runs for one hour at Mott Library's Meeting Room B, which accommodates up to 50 people.
