Learn & Play Storytime with WGTE

Join WGTE educators for a special storytime experience featuring beloved characters and stories from PBS KIDS programming. This 45-minute session blends entertainment with learning, designed specifically for preschool-aged children. The educators use hands-on activities, video clips, and interactive storytelling to spark curiosity and development across multiple areas—from language and literacy to creative thinking, physical skills, and social-emotional growth. Parents, caregivers, and community members are welcome and encouraged to participate alongside the children. The program follows Ohio's Early Learning and Development Standards, ensuring activities support real developmental progress. Whether you're attending with one child or bringing a group through a daycare or organization, this is a relaxed, engaging way to combine fun with meaningful learning experiences. All activities and materials are provided as part of the program.
