Let the Music Play: Steinway Residency Series

Let the Music Play: Steinway Residency Series

Classical piano performance by Steinway artists—free family-friendly concert at Mint Museum Uptown.

Pianist Anatoly Larkin and cellist Tanja Bechtler perform together for an evening of late Romantic chamber music. Their program spans from the lyrical beauty of Chopin and Rachmaninoff through the passionate intensity of Schumann, concluding with the rhythmic energy of Piazzolla's tangoes. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience live classical music in an intimate museum setting. This performance is part of the Mint's Free Wednesday Evenings program, so there's no admission cost. The 45-minute concert runs from 6 to 6:45 p.m., leaving time to explore the galleries (open until 9 p.m.) or grab dinner at Mariposa at the Mint afterward. The Steinway Residency Series features rotating pianists on the third Wednesday of each month. For accessibility accommodations, contact the Sr. Director of Human Resources at [email protected] or 704.337.2017, or visit mintmuseum.org/accessibility.
