Littlest Naturalist: Cool Critters (Ages 3-5)

Your little ones will explore how animals survive and adapt during the winter season in this hands-on nature program. Each session features a live animal encounter that brings learning to life, giving young children the chance to observe real critters up close. The group will also dive into story time, examine animal artifacts, and try out interactive activities designed to spark curiosity about the natural world. Every week brings a new theme and a different animal focus, so there's always something fresh to discover. Kids will wrap up each session by creating a craft that ties into what they've learned, giving them a keepsake to take home. This program is perfect for preschoolers and toddlers who are beginning to develop an interest in nature and animals. The Glass City Enrichment Center in Toledo hosts these engaging sessions that blend education, exploration, and creative fun.
