Live Science Show

Your kids will get to watch real science happen right before their eyes during this 20-minute presentation. Our science experts perform a series of engaging experiments designed to captivate young audiences, with reactions and results you can see unfold in real time. The intimate setting of the Eureka Theatre (located on the second floor) keeps capacity limited, so every child gets a great view of the action. This show works well for kids who enjoy hands-on learning and are curious about how things work. The topics rotate regularly, covering subjects like states of matter, chemical reactions, space exploration, combustion, and the human body—so there's always something new to discover. Shows run about 20 minutes, making them perfect for maintaining kids' attention. Best of all, admission to the Live Science Show is included with your General Admission ticket, so there's no extra cost. Check the museum's schedule for show times: Saturday and Sunday at 11:45 AM and 1:45 PM, or Monday, Thursday, and Friday at 12:30 PM.
