Mad Science: Spooktacular Halloween

Your child is invited to a Halloween-themed Mad Science program where a visiting scientist leads an hour of interactive demonstrations. Expect to see spooky experiments and creepy concoctions that bring the season to life—the kind of hands-on science show that gets kids excited and maybe a little grossed out in the best way. This program welcomes elementary and middle-grade children, roughly kindergarten through eighth grade, though it's designed to work well for a range of ages within that span. The one-hour session gives families a fun way to celebrate October at the library. For specific details about what to bring, whether registration is required, or if there are any costs, reach out to the programming librarian at rsamuelson@henricolibrary.org.
