MahJong

Looking for a regular social activity with a dash of strategy? This weekly mahjong gathering welcomes adults 18 and up for casual play, friendly competition, and good conversation. Whether you're a seasoned player or just curious about the game, you'll find a welcoming group at the Goochland Meeting Room. Sessions run for two and a half hours, giving you plenty of time to settle in and enjoy the game at a relaxed pace. If mahjong is brand new to you, the library offers monthly instructional classes on the first Tuesday of each month—these do require advance registration and are a great way to learn the basics before joining the open play sessions. For questions about accessibility needs, how to register for beginner classes, or any other details, reach out to ask@pamunkeylibrary.org or call the Goochland Branch at (804) 556-4774.
