Make & Takes: Porch Pots

Join the team at Windmill Island Gardens for an evening of seasonal creativity! This hands-on class invites you to build your own festive porch pot using fresh greenery and holiday decorations. Emily VanStaalduinen, the Grounds and Horticulture Manager, will guide you through the process of arranging natural materials from around the island with additional embellishments to create a unique winter display. Whether you're looking to spruce up your own porch or create a gift, you'll walk away with a finished 12-inch pot ready to brighten your outdoor space. No prior experience is needed—just bring your creativity. The $60 per person fee includes all supplies: your pot, greenery, and decorative elements. Class spots are limited, and tickets are non-refundable. For more information or to register, reach out to Laura at l.dreyer@cityofholland.com.
