Montpelier's Writers Group

Join a welcoming monthly gathering for adult writers of all levels. Whether you've already published work, have manuscripts tucked away, or are just beginning to explore your voice on the page, this group offers a supportive space to connect with fellow writers. You don't need to arrive with a finished piece—simply come ready to share your passion for words and learn from others who understand the writing journey. Led by Valerie Forde-Galvin, a therapist, teacher, and writer, these sessions create an encouraging environment for creative growth. The group meets from 4:00 to 5:00 pm and includes refreshments courtesy of the Friends of the Montpelier Branch Library. If you have questions or need to arrange accessibility accommodations, reach out to ask@pamunkeylibrary.org or call the branch directly at 804-883-5117.
