Music at the Museum
Live music at the Wood County Museum—history and entertainment combined.
The Wood County Museum invites families to enjoy free live music on the grounds of this historic venue. This is the fourth year of the "Music at the Museum" concert series, happening on multiple summer evenings with performances on the east wing porch of the historic County Home building. Each evening features two different bands performing back-to-back, so there's plenty of music to enjoy. The concerts run from 6:00 PM into the evening, giving families flexibility in how long they'd like to stay.
Beyond the music, there's plenty to keep everyone entertained. A beer garden is available for adults, while kids can enjoy yard games and a new friendship bracelet-making station. Food trucks will be on-site, so you can grab dinner or snacks without leaving the grounds. Bring your own chairs or blankets to settle in on the lawn for comfortable seating. Please note that outside alcohol isn't permitted, and if bad weather rolls in, the event will be canceled. This is a wonderful way to spend a summer evening while supporting a local cultural institution.
