Music @ Butler: Butler Opera Theatre

Butler Opera Theatre is the university's student-run opera company, performing full-scale operatic productions with student singers, musicians, and designers. Families can expect polished vocal performances of classic operas—works like Mozart, Puccini, or Verdi—staged with sets and costumes. It's a wonderful introduction to opera for kids curious about theater and music, featuring young performers who are passionate about bringing these stories to life. Operas blend powerful singing, orchestral music, and dramatic storytelling that can captivate audiences across ages.
