Music City Roots at Harken Hall October 28

This live music event brings together four distinct acts celebrating country, folk, bluegrass, and Americana traditions. Laid Back Country Picker blends 70s rock energy with honky tonk and country punk—they've toured internationally and opened for major acts. Garrett Boys, a Tennessee family trio of two brothers and a nephew, perform Appalachian folk rooted in their family's generations-old land. Bluegrass musician Bronwyn, trained at Berklee College of Music, brings her polished style, while the alt-country rock ensemble Rodeo Mouth rounds out the lineup with their eclectic, storytelling-driven sound. The evening is hosted by legendary musician Jim Lauderdale, with an announcer and special interviews from Ranger Doug Green of Riders in the Sky. You can expect a blend of performances and artist conversations that highlight both the musicianship and personalities behind each band. The show is all ages, making it accessible for families who enjoy live acoustic music and want to experience the high-quality sound Harken Hall is known for. Doors open at 6:00 PM with the show starting at 7:00 PM.
