Music Under the Stars

Music Under the Stars is a beloved summer tradition at the Toledo Zoo, bringing live musical performances to families throughout July and August. This free concert series takes place in the Zoo's historic Amphitheatre on select Sunday evenings, featuring a rotating lineup of regional bands performing everything from patriotic classics and rock to jazz and symphonic music. Gates open at 6 p.m., with performances beginning at 7:30 p.m., giving you plenty of time to settle in and enjoy the evening. What to know before you go: admission to the concerts is completely free, and both main entrances will be open on concert nights. You're welcome to bring a picnic or purchase food and beverages on-site. Zoo members enjoy complimentary parking in both lots, while other visitors pay standard parking rates. The July 26 event includes special early entertainment in the Main Plaza from 6–7:30 p.m., so arriving a bit earlier that evening gives you extra musical options. This is a wonderful way to enjoy live music in a relaxed outdoor setting while making the most of your Zoo visit.
