Musica Antigua de Toledo, Dutch Treats and English Sweets

Musica Antigua de Toledo is an ensemble specializing in early music from the Renaissance and Baroque periods, performed on period instruments. Expect an intimate, refined concert of vocal and instrumental works—think madrigals, motets, and dance music from centuries past. The program title suggests a mix of Dutch and English compositions from that era. This is a wonderful introduction to classical music for families who enjoy listening attentively; it's gentle and accessible but requires quiet appreciation rather than active participation.
