Nashville Ballet presents “Día de los Muertos” at Martin Center for Nashville Ballet
Nashville Ballet returns with a beloved celebration that sold out completely in 2024. This one-of-a-kind performance draws inspiration from the iconic artwork of Mexican artists Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, bringing their vibrant vision to life through dance. Choreographed by Maria A. Konrad, the production combines striking movement, evocative music, and rich Mexican cultural traditions to explore themes of family, life's many facets, and our shared humanity—all delivered with infectious joy that appeals to audiences of all ages.
The show runs about an hour and takes place at Studio A in the Martin Center. Multiple performance times are scheduled throughout the end of October and early November, though performances have sold out. If you're interested in attending, check about group sales (15% off for groups of 10 or more) or subscription packages (up to 30% savings for adults, 50% for children under 12), which also offer perks like priority seating and free exchanges. For first-time ballet attendees, the venue has resources available to help you prepare for your visit.
