Nativity Festival

See 900+ nativity scenes from 52 countries at this festive holiday celebration.

Step into St. Paul's Lutheran Church this holiday season to experience Christmas traditions from around the world. You'll discover over 900 nativity scenes representing 52 countries, along with beautifully decorated Christmas trees and vintage holiday displays spanning from Colonial times to the 20th century. Kids will love exploring Roundhouse Randy's collection of model trains and toys, plus there are craft activities, a scavenger hunt, and hands-on areas designed just for them. Live holiday music fills the historic sanctuary throughout the festival, with special "Carols and Cocktails" events on Friday evenings and candlelight concerts on Sunday afternoons. The festival runs November 20–December 20, with varying hours throughout the week. Admission is completely free (though donations support their community meal program), and the building is fully accessible for visitors with mobility needs. If crowds feel overwhelming, consider visiting during the "Quiet Christmas" hour offered Saturday mornings at 11am for those with sensory sensitivities. Group tours are available by advance arrangement. Free parking is nearby, and the location is right downtown. For reservations, group bookings, or questions, reach out to kate@stpaulstoledo.org or call the church directly.
