Nature Embroidery
Learn embroidery techniques inspired by nature at the Visitors Center.
Join park staff for a guided introduction to embroidery with a nature theme. You'll learn about the wildlife featured in your design while getting started on your project, then take it home to complete at your leisure. All materials and instruction are provided as part of the registration fee, so you just need to bring yourself and your creativity. The same design template runs throughout the month, so pick whichever session works best for your schedule—just register for one.
This program welcomes teens and adults ages 16 and up who are interested in trying a new craft. Registration is required and opens March 1st, with a cost of $10 per person. Whether you're an experienced stitcher or picking up a needle for the first time, this is a low-pressure way to explore embroidery while connecting with nature.
