Nature Stories at NCMA

Your young children will enjoy an engaging story time celebrating the natural world at the North Carolina Museum of Art. The program begins with a story, then transitions into hands-on activities that explore nature-themed concepts. Depending on the group and weather, you may also venture to other areas of the museum's campus for an outdoor walk component. This free program welcomes children ages 7 and younger (along with older siblings and parents). Plan to dress for the weather, as outdoor exploration is part of the experience. Most walks are stroller-friendly, making it accessible for families with little ones. Just arrive ready to move around and enjoy the outdoors. Meet near the Welcome Center when you arrive.
