Oasis in Space at Ritter Planetarium

Journey through our solar system in search of water and the conditions that make life possible during this immersive planetarium experience. You'll explore how our solar system formed and discover the unique characteristics of planets and their moons—all presented in a stunning full-dome format that surrounds you with incredible visuals. The program runs roughly an hour and gives families a chance to see the cosmos in a whole new way. Your evening includes more than just the show. A live guide will walk you through the Toledo night sky, pointing out constellations and planets visible from your own backyard, plus discussing current discoveries in astronomy. Afterward, you'll head to Brooks Observatory to look through telescopes—weather permitting—giving kids and adults a chance to see what they've just learned about up close. Admission is $8 for adults and $6 for children and seniors. Arrive early to explore the lobby displays before the doors close 30 minutes before showtime. Seats are first-come, first-served with no advance reservations needed.
