Once Upon a Lap

Once Upon a Lap is a six-week storytime program designed for babies and toddlers from birth through 23 months, with their caregivers. Each session includes stories, songs, fingerplays, and movement activities that encourage bonding and early learning. The program is built around social and emotional development, helping little ones begin to recognize and respond to feelings in healthy ways. Registration is required and opens October 26. You can sign up online or by phone at (803) 981-5888. The program is limited to 30 children total, and organizers ask that you bring only your registered child. Registration closes December 14, so plan ahead if you'd like to join this six-week session.
