Open Late!

The Grand Rapids Public Museum's 'Open Late' event gives families a chance to explore the museum's collections during extended evening hours. These after-hours experiences typically feature interactive exhibits, special demonstrations, and a more relaxed atmosphere than daytime visits—perfect for families who want to learn together without the usual crowds. Kids can discover local history, natural science, and cultural artifacts while parents enjoy the unhurried pace. It's a great way to spark curiosity and make a museum visit feel like a special outing.
