Origami for Beginners
Learn paper-folding basics at Oregon Library.
Your teen can discover the basics of paper folding at this hands-on craft session at Oregon Library. Participants will learn fundamental origami techniques and create several simple designs—perfect for anyone curious about this meditative art form. This is an ideal introduction for kids who have never tried origami before or want to build their skills from the ground up.
The program runs for 30 minutes, giving young folders enough time to grasp key folds and complete a project or two. It's a casual, creative way to spend an afternoon at the library, and no prior experience is needed. Teens ages 11–17 are welcome to attend.
