Painted Bookends
Kids paint and decorate wooden bookends to take home at the library.
Kids and teens can stop by the library to personalize their own pair of bookends during this one-hour art session. Participants will get to decorate two bookends to take home and display on their shelves at home. This is a great fit for anyone who enjoys hands-on creative projects and wants to add a personal touch to their room or reading nook.
The program runs for one hour and is designed with teens in mind, though the creative nature of the activity makes it accessible to a range of ages. Spots are limited with 15 seats available, so interested families should register ahead. The session takes place in the library's Meeting Room A&B, which is handicapped accessible.
