Painted Bookends
Kids paint decorative bookends in a creative library craft workshop.
Kids ages 11 to 17 are invited to visit the Main Library's Teen Space to create their own decorated bookends. During this one-hour session, young artists will have the chance to personalize a pair of bookends, which makes for a practical craft they can take home and actually use on their shelves. It's a straightforward, hands-on activity perfect for teens who enjoy creative projects.
Registration is required, and there are 12 seats available for the program. This is a free or low-cost event hosted at the library's dedicated teen area, so it's an easy option for families already in the Toledo area. If your teen is looking for a quick creative outlet, this bookend decorating session offers just that—a chance to make something both beautiful and useful.
