Painting Panamanian Molas
Paint traditional Panamanian molas—cultural art craft.
Your teen can explore the vibrant textile tradition of Guna women from Panama by creating their own mola-inspired artwork. This hands-on craft session invites participants to work with color and pattern design, learning about this meaningful cultural art form while making something beautiful to take home. The program is led by the Sofia Quintero Art and Cultural Center, bringing authentic cultural knowledge to the creative experience.
The session runs for one hour at the South Library's meeting room. This is a great fit for teens interested in art, crafts, or learning about Latin American heritage. Space is available with about 30 seats remaining, so registration is encouraged. For any questions or to sign up, you can reach the South Library directly at 419.259.5395.
