Pastries and Plots

Older teen book club with pastries: read, discuss, and socialize with peers.

Pastries and Plots brings together older teens who love reading for an hour of book discussion and treats. Geared toward teens ages 15 to 18, this program invites participants to read a chosen book ahead of time and then gather at the library to talk through the month's selection with others. It's a casual, social way to dive deeper into a story you've finished and connect with fellow readers. Led by Crystal Morris, the group meets at Mercy Health Activity Center at the Library. Come ready to share your thoughts on the book, enjoy some pastries, and spend time with other teens who appreciate good stories. Whether you're a book lover looking to discuss your latest read or curious about joining a teen book club, this is a welcoming space to do both.
