PAWS to Read with DIXIE!

Does your child need encouragement with reading? This program pairs young readers with Dixie, a certified therapy dog, creating a supportive space where kids can practice reading aloud without pressure or judgment. Children in kindergarten through fifth grade—or any child who could use extra reading support—are welcome to pick a book and spend time reading to a friendly, four-legged listener. It's a great way to build both reading skills and confidence in a relaxed atmosphere. Spots fill up quickly, so registration is required.
