Planetarium Programs – Waukesha

The Horwitz DeRemer Planetarium, housed within the Retzer Environmental Learning Center, offers immersive shows that take visitors on journeys through space without ever leaving your seat. Using advanced high-definition laser projection, the 90-seat theater lets families explore everything from distant galaxies to the rings of Saturn. Each program is thoughtfully designed to cover science concepts including astronomy, physics, weather, and earth science in ways that engage young learners. Shows run throughout the year at various times, with tickets priced at $5 per person. The planetarium welcomes individual ticket purchases when seats are available, and groups can arrange private reservations by calling 262-970-4139. The entire facility—including the entrance, lobby, and theater—is fully wheelchair accessible. For ticket purchases and additional details, visit the online ticketing system. Between shows, families can enjoy the broader Retzer Nature Center grounds and facilities to round out their visit.
