Planetarium Programs – Waukesha

The Horwitz DeRemer Planetarium, located at the Retzer Nature Center, invites families to explore the night sky and beyond through immersive dome shows. Each program uses advanced projection technology to take viewers on journeys through space—from flying through Saturn's rings to traveling to distant galaxies—all from comfortable seats in the theater. Shows run regularly throughout the fall and winter, with options on both weekday mornings and Saturday afternoons at various times. Tickets are just $5 per person, and you can purchase them online or grab available seats up to showtime. The planetarium is fully wheelchair accessible, and the facility also offers group reservations for scouts, community organizations, and private parties. With a rotating lineup of shows designed for different ages and interests—from programs for young children to those geared toward older kids and adults—there's something for everyone. For details about specific show topics, group bookings, or to purchase tickets, call the planetarium directly or visit their online ticketing system.
