Planetarium Programs – Waukesha

Explore the night sky and beyond at the Horwitz DeRemer Planetarium, nestled within the Retzer Nature Center. This fall, the planetarium offers a rotating selection of immersive shows that take you from ancient Egyptian astronomy to outer space adventures. Each presentation uses state-of-the-art projection technology to let you experience everything from flying through Saturn's rings to landing on Mars—all from your seat. Shows run throughout the fall season, with different themes offered on weekdays and weekends. Tickets are $5 per person, and seats can typically be purchased up to show time if availability remains. The planetarium welcomes private group reservations for scouts, community organizations, and special events. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible, including the entrance, lobby, and theater. For specific show details, current scheduling, ticket purchases, or to arrange a group reservation, visit the online ticketing system or contact the planetarium directly at 262-970-4139.
