Playdate at the Library
Playdate at Carnegie Library's Main branch for babies and toddlers.
Bring your little one to an informal gathering designed for babies and preschoolers to play, explore, and learn alongside their caregivers. During this hour-long session, families have access to toys, games, and materials in the children's area while also getting to meet and chat with the library's Children's Services staff. It's a relaxed way to build connections with other families in your community while your child engages in hands-on play.
This program welcomes children from birth through age 5 and their caregivers. There's no pressure to participate in structured activities—just come, let your child play at their own pace, and enjoy the space and company of other families. It's a great option if you're looking for a casual outing that supports your child's learning through play.
