Playdate with Nature (Whiteville)

Bring your child outside for an hour of guided exploration and nature discovery in our outdoor spaces. This interactive program is designed to help children connect with the natural world through hands-on activities and direct engagement with their surroundings. Just dress appropriately for whatever weather comes your way—this program runs rain or shine, whether it's chilly or warm. There's no registration needed to join us, and the best part is it's completely free. During the summer months (June through August), we offer this playdate every Saturday, though it also takes place on other dates throughout the year. If weather turns severe, we'll post updates on our social media pages or you can call the museum directly. It's a wonderful way to get kids excited about nature without any advance planning required.
