Preschool Storytime

Stories and activities for preschoolers at Sylvania Library.

Your little one ages 3-5 will have a blast at this interactive library program designed to build early learning skills. The session includes stories, songs, puppets, and movement activities—all set up to help prepare children for their kindergarten transition. You'll be right there with your child, participating in reading, singing, writing, and playtime activities together. It's a chance for your preschooler to engage with books and language in a fun, social setting while you enjoy the experience alongside them. After the structured program wraps up, there's open playtime so kids can continue exploring and playing. The session runs for one hour and takes place in the library's meeting room. This is a wonderful low-pressure introduction to library programs and a nice way to spend time with your preschooler while they develop a love of stories and learning.
