ProjectArt Pittsburgh Allegheny Ages 8-12
Art workshops for ages 8–12 at Carnegie Library's Allegheny branch.
ProjectArt Pittsburgh offers free weekly art classes for kids ages 8–12 taught by professional artists from the community. These classes run from September through May and are designed to spark creativity and a genuine love of learning. Each session explores artistic concepts aligned with national education standards, guided by instructors who bring their own creative experience into the classroom. All materials are provided, so your child just needs to show up ready to create.
Enrollment happens year-round, though spots fill up, so registering ahead is important. Classes meet once a week, and your child can join anytime during the season. Registration and more details are available through the link on the library's website. It's a wonderful way for elementary-aged kids to explore art in a supportive environment at no cost.
