ProjectArt Pittsburgh Homewood Ages 8-12

Your child can join a free weekly art class taught by professional teaching artists who bring real creative expertise to the classroom. Classes follow national arts education standards and focus on building imaginative thinking and fostering a genuine love for making art. All materials are provided, so you don't need to worry about supplies—just show up ready to create. The program runs from September through May, with sessions held at the Homewood branch location. This program welcomes children ages 8–12 and keeps classes interactive and engaging. Since enrollment happens throughout the year and spots fill up, you'll want to register in advance through their online system. Space is limited, so signing up early is important if you want to secure a spot for your child.
