Public Skate

Come experience ice skating at the Slater Family Ice Arena throughout the season. This welcoming rink welcomes skaters of all levels—whether your family includes experienced skaters or beginners just learning their balance. Sessions run multiple times each week, with evening and afternoon options to fit different schedules. You'll skate under the lights with music playing, creating a fun atmosphere perfect for families and friends of any age. Getting started is affordable: admission costs $8 per person, and if you need skates, rentals are available for $5. It's a great way to keep kids active and create memories together on the ice. For families who need special accommodations or accessibility services, contact Bowling Green State University's Accessibility Services at access@bgsu.edu or 419-372-8495 before your visit.
