Quilter’s Big Tote

Spend a full day learning to create your own quilted tote bag in this hands-on class led by experienced instructor Sheryl Rathge. You'll select from three fabric colorways and work through the entire bag-making process, from layering and quilting the exterior panels to constructing the lining, adding binding, and attaching handles. Sheryl guides you through each step, making it manageable and rewarding. This class works best for people who already have some sewing experience—you should feel comfortable with quarter-inch seams, measuring and cutting fabric, and following instructions. The $40 general admission fee ($35 for Sauder Village members) includes expert instruction, and registered students receive a 10% discount on all supplies purchased at the on-site Quilt Shop.
