Quilting with the Kuumba Afrikan American Quilting Guild

Join the Kuumba Afrikan American Quilting Guild for a two-part quilting workshop designed for people just starting out. Members of the guild will walk you through the history and significance of quilts, teach you how to safely use a sewing machine, and help you complete a jelly roll fabric project you can take home. All materials, books, and instructions are provided for you—just bring yourself and your willingness to learn. This is a two-session program, and you'll need to attend both workshops to get the full experience. Registration is required, and spots are limited. When you sign up, you're automatically registered for both dates. Reach out to FairfieldEvents@henricolibrary.org or call (804) 501-1930 x5 if you have questions or need any accommodations to participate.
