Reading with Rooster

Build reading confidence with a certified therapy dog at the library.

Reading with Rooster is a library program designed to build children's confidence and love of reading through interactive storytelling. Kids get to read aloud in a supportive, encouraging environment—often featuring a friendly animal character or mascot to make the experience less intimidating. It's a wonderful way for early readers to practice their skills, ask questions, and discover new books in a judgment-free setting alongside other young readers.
