Remember: Lights in the Sky

On September 12, Maumee Bay Lodge will host a synchronized drone light show that fills the evening sky with glowing formations and patriotic imagery. This event honors both America's 250th Anniversary and serves as a solemn tribute marking 25 years since September 11th. Before the main show, families can enjoy live DJ entertainment on the patio from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The spectacle unfolds across the lodge grounds, where you're welcome to bring your own lawn chairs and blankets to settle into designated viewing areas for comfortable seating. This is a great occasion for families looking to combine a special evening with overnight lodging—the lodge offers various cabin and room options so you can maximize your time enjoying the celebration. Note that while main lawns are open to the public, some patio spaces will be reserved for private events.
