Renaissance Faire
Multi-day Renaissance-themed faire with entertainment and activities for families at Akron Zoo.
A Renaissance Faire is a interactive outdoor celebration of Renaissance-era history and culture, featuring costumed performers, artisans, musicians, and entertainment throughout the grounds. Families can expect to wander between stages and vendor booths, watch sword swallowers and comedians, browse handcrafted goods, sample period-inspired food, and enjoy live music and theatrical performances. Kids often love the costumes, interactive activities, and playful atmosphere, while parents appreciate the blend of education and entertainment. It's a casual, stroll-at-your-own-pace event perfect for families seeking something quirky and engaging.
