Ritter Planetarium: "Chasing the Ghost Particle"

The University of Toledo's Ritter Planetarium invites families to explore the cosmos with "Chasing the Ghost Particle," a fascinating show about cutting-edge scientific discovery. Using a state-of-the-art digital projection system and surround sound, this program takes you deep into Antarctica's ice to learn about neutrinos—mysterious particles that help scientists study some of the universe's most extreme phenomena, from exploding stars to black holes. It's a wonderful choice for families curious about space and modern astronomy. Showtimes are Friday evenings in September. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for children, seniors, and UToledo community members. Seating is first-come, first-served with no advance ticket purchases, so arriving early is wise. Free parking is available in lot 1N with vehicle registration (complete this before arrival or in the lobby). Programs begin promptly, so late entry isn't permitted.
