Ritter Planetarium: “Einstein's Gravity Playlist”
Explore gravitational waves and space-time at the University of Toledo's planetarium show.
Join a PhD physics student named Lucia for an evening exploring one of the universe's most fascinating phenomena: gravitational waves. This show breaks down how Albert Einstein predicted these ripples in space-time over a century ago, and how modern scientists use laser technology today to actually detect them. You'll learn what creates gravitational waves, how they travel through the cosmos, and get insight into the real research happening in this field.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for children, seniors, and University of Toledo community members. Shows run Friday evenings and operate on a first-come, first-served basis—no advance purchases needed. Just remember to register your vehicle for free parking before arriving. Plan to arrive on time, as late entry isn't permitted once the show begins. For more information or to register your parking spot, contact the Ritter Planetarium at 419.530.2650 or ritter.planetarium@gmail.com.
