Saturday Science Sparks: UNC’s Magic of Science

Join UNC's Magic of Science program for this special fall edition of Saturday Science Sparks at Morehead Planetarium and Science Center. You'll find the action happening in the Launch Lab, where visiting scientists and community partners offer hands-on encounters with current research and discoveries. This program rotates through exciting STEAM topics—from astronomy to the physics of juggling to computer science—giving families a closer look at real science in action. This is a free addition to your regular admission, so there's no extra cost to participate. Specific times and further details will be announced closer to the event date. Saturday Science Sparks welcomes the whole family and is designed to spark curiosity about the world around us. Be sure to check the website or call ahead for any updates about parking or accessibility needs during your visit.
