Scary Snacks & Scarier Stories!
Halloween spooky stories and treats at South Library—thrills and fun for families.
Kids ages 11–17 are invited to flex their creative writing skills during this one-hour program centered on spooky storytelling. Participants will craft their own frightening tales, focusing on the details that make a good scare—think chills, shivers, and spine-tingling moments. It's a fun way for teens to explore creative writing in a seasonal, themed setting.
After working on their stories, everyone gets to enjoy Halloween-themed treats. The organizers promise some playful surprises with the refreshments, so come ready for a little spooky fun alongside your snack. This event takes place at the South Library's meeting room, which is handicapped accessible.
