Shrinky Dinks

Curious about how those magical shrinking plastic crafts actually work? Join us for a hands-on session where kids will design their own Shrinky Dinks from start to finish. Participants will color plastic pieces, pop them in the oven, and watch as they transform into shiny, glass-like creations. It's a fun introduction to a classic craft project that yields real keepsakes to take home. This program is designed for teens ages 11–17 and runs for one hour at the South Library. The meeting room holds up to 40 participants and is handicapped accessible, so families with different accessibility needs can comfortably attend.
