Student Skate Nights

Student Skate Nights offers BGSU students a fun Thursday evening activity at Slater Family Ice Arena. Whether you're looking for a study break, a chance to move around, or just a relaxed social outing, this program welcomes skaters of all abilities—beginners and experienced skaters alike. You can come with friends, bring neighbors along, or join solo and meet new people in a casual, welcoming atmosphere. Admission is $5 and skate rentals are $3 for students with a valid BGSU ID. If you're interested in attending, advance registration isn't required but can help speed up your check-in when you arrive. For students with accessibility needs, reach out to Disability Services at access@bgsu.edu or 419-372-8495 ahead of time to arrange any necessary accommodations.
